FEAST Club Descriptions for Fall 2026 Semester
Garrison Mill FEAST Clubs feature a mix of clubs that are led by teachers that your kids already know plus clubs that are led by skilled external providers who are insured to Cobb County School District standards and have undergone background checks.
Our fee-based clubs provide after-school enrichment that enhances learning in a fun environment. All clubs will be held at Garrison Mill Elementary.
TEACHER-LED CLUBS
Move & Groove (K-3rd)
Get ready to move, groove, and make new friends! Younger Greyhounds will explore movement and music through exciting activities like playing instruments & bucket drums, singing & telling musical stories, dancing & learning rhythmic exercises, cardio drumming & dribble routines, active circle games, and more! It's the perfect way to get active, be creative, and have fun after school.
On Mondays - Offered by Colleen Crotty and Kirsten Hammontree, $230
Reading, Creating, and Beyond (K-1st)
Students merge the world of art and literacy. Your child will learn to “listen to art” and “paint a story.” Teachers will read a new story each week and let students express themselves through setting, mood, characters, etc., using various art techniques.

Extra Art Fun!!! (2nd-5th)
Students experience art fundamentals in a FUN learning environment. We focus on lines, shapes, and colors as children explore a variety of materials and techniques like drawing, painting, paper mâché, clay, and more. We will enhance your child’s imagination and set the basics for future artwork by focusing on the process of art. Curriculum for each class will be unique. We will create many projects and all artwork will go home with the student.

Volleyball Club (2nd-5th)
Spike your confidence! Our new Volleyball club focuses on foundational volleyball skills. Our sessions also support social and emotional skills that help students deal with relationships during sports and in life. Students will get basic exercise while building friendships and nurturing peer mentorship within our Greyhound community in a club operated by one of our certified teachers. Can you dig it?
On Wednesdays - Offered by Kellee Brown and Kirsten Hammontree, $230
Curious Creators (3rd-5th)
This new club is student-driven, where teachers are there to guide, problem solve, and assist with students' visions. Students choose what they want to create with the materials provided. They will have access to a variety of materials, such as cardboard, paper, tape, scissors, glue, staples, yarn, craft sticks, etc. Students will be encouraged to design, solve problems, and implement their own ideas. We'll focus on the Engineering aspect of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, math).

All Sports and Games (K-2nd Wednesday, 3rd-5th Friday)
Learn the fundamentals of different sports and games. Think soccer, basketball, dodgeball, and many more! Our focus is on sportsmanship, playing as a team, and learning individual skills. Have fun, make friends, learn! Two sessions, split by grade level.
On Wednesdays for K-2nd and Fridays for 3rd-5th - Offered by Coach Quentin Adams, $250
Basketball (2nd-5th)
For boys and girls, this club will teach the fundamentals of basketball. Students will learn sportsmanship, play as a team, and develop individual skills.
On Thursdays - Offered by Coach Quentin Adams, $250
Sports Bundle (2nd-5th)
For second through fifth grade students who want twice the fun, enjoy this special FEAST Club bundle with Coach Adams. Go to Basketball on Thursdays and All Sports and Games either on Wednesday (second grade only) or Fridays (grades 3-5). Learn fundamentals and sportsmanship - and have two days of fun. Parents will love special bundle pricing - a $500 value for just $450.
EXTERNALLY LED CLUBS
Skills & Frills (K-5th)
Lots of fun craft projects, from sewing and baking to woodworking and paper crafting. Exposure to DIY basics through fun crafts and recipes. Two session are available.

Karate (K-5th)
Instructors emphasize physical training alongside life skills including respect, focus, and self-discipline. This club is for all ages. Instructors will separate groups based on ages once session is underway.

Builder Bunch - LEGO Club (K-5th)
Students will learn how to design a home from concept to making a floorplan to building the finished building with LEGO bricks.

Yoga Club (2nd-5th Tuesday, K-1st Friday)
Instructors help students build confidence, focus, and emotional resilience through yoga and mindfulness. Two sessions split by grade level.
On Tuesdays for 2nd-5th and Fridays for K-1st - Offered by Happy Kidz Yoga, $265
Guitar Club (2nd-5th)
This club provides students the opportunity to pick up a guitar and have fun playing music with friends. Students will learn how to play 6 new songs by the end of the semester! Guitars are provided for each student.
On Tuesdays - Offered by Fine Arts Matter, $280
Beat Makers (2nd-5th)
Lay down some beats and jam to your own songs this semester! Students will compose and collaborate with friends as they create fresh beats and loops using virtual instruments and Digital Audio Workstation software. Laptop music stations are provided for each student.
On Wednesdays - Offered by Fine Arts Matter, $280
Young Entrepreneurs (2nd-5th)
Students will create and launch their own small business from start to finish. Throughout the program, they will develop a business idea, create a brand, build a product or service, and learn how to market and sell. The program concludes with a Young CEO Expo: Club Edition where students can showcase and sell their businesses to family and the community.

Chess Club (1st-5th, K-5th)
Develop critical thinking, confidence, and competitive skills, with an emphasis on improved concentration and academic performance. Two sessions are provided (note that kindergarten students should attend session 2).

Drama (K-5th)
Let your budding actor build self-confidence, speaking, and acting skills through activities like improvisations, mini-scripts, and theater games. Two sessions are provided.

KidzKeys - Piano Club (K-3rd)
Come learn how to play the piano and learn 6 new songs! This club provides students with an environment to express their creativity and develop their musical abilities. Keyboards are provided for each student.
