Garden Renovation

In winter and spring 2023, the GME Foundation spearheaded a complete transformation of our school garden — and thanks to your incredible support, it has become a vibrant, functional, and inspiring outdoor learning space for all our students.

What We Did:

We completely removed the old garden infrastructure and redesigned the entire space from the ground up. The new layout includes:

• A Sensory Garden designed for exploration and calm

• A productive Vegetable Garden for planting, harvesting, and sharing produce

• A blooming Pollinator Garden to support local ecosystems

• Compost Bins for hands-on sustainability learning

• An Outdoor Classroom Area with a beautiful new garden bench and teaching space, built by local Eagle Scouts

Every part of the new garden was designed to support hands-on STEAM learning, foster curiosity, and provide a calming space for all students to enjoy.
