Clubs are arranged below by teacher-led clubs and externally led clubs. Teacher clubs are taught by Garrison Mill teachers. External clubs are partners who have been vetted and approved to meet Cobb County School District standards.
All clubs provide great enrichment experiences for students. Clubs will be held after school at Garrison Mill.

Move & Groove
Get ready to move, groove, and make new friends! Younger Greyhounds will explore movement and music through exciting activities like playing instruments & bucket drums, singing & telling musical stories, dancing & learning rhythmic exercises, cardio drumming & dribble routines, active circle games, and more! It's the perfect way to get active, be creative, and have fun after school.

Students merge the world of art and literacy. Your child will learn to “listen to art” and “paint a story.” Teachers will read a new story each week and let students express themselves through setting, mood, characters, etc., using various art techniques.

Students experience art fundamentals in a FUN learning environment. We focus on lines, shapes, and colors as children explore a variety of materials and techniques like drawing, painting, paper mâché, clay, and more. We will enhance your child’s imagination and set the basics for future artwork by focusing on the process of art. Curriculum for each class will be unique. We will create many projects and all artwork will go home with the student.

Volleyball Club
Spike your confidence! Our new Volleyball club focuses on foundational volleyball skills. Our sessions also support social and emotional skills that help students deal with relationships during sports and in life. Students will get basic exercise while building friendships and nurturing peer mentorship within our Greyhound community in a club operated by one of our certified teachers. Can you dig it?

Curious Creators
This new club is student-driven, where teachers are there to guide, problem solve, and assist with students' visions. Students choose what they want to create with the materials provided. They will have access to a variety of materials, such as cardboard, paper, tape, scissors, glue, staples, yarn, craft sticks, etc. Students will be encouraged to design, solve problems, and implement their own ideas. We'll focus on the Engineering aspect of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, math).

Beat Makers
Lay down some beats and jam to your own songs this semester! Students will compose and collaborate with friends as they create fresh beats and loops using virtual instruments and Digital Audio Workstation software. Laptop music stations are provided for each student.

Young Entrepreneurs
Students will create and launch their own small business from start to finish. Throughout the program, they will develop a business idea, create a brand, build a product or service, and learn how to market and sell. The program concludes with a Young CEO Expo: Club Edition where students can showcase and sell their businesses to family and the community.
