Join us for the annual Greyhound Gallop, a chip-timed 5K, 1K, and Fun Run — a favorite East Cobb tradition for all ages and abilities. Whether you're racing for a personal best, strolling with family, or cheering from the sidelines, this is a community event you won’t want to miss.

The Greyhound Gallop is an official qualifier for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race.

All proceeds support campus improvements at Garrison Mill Elementary School.

The Greyhound Gallop 5K begins on campus before heading out onto Wesley Chapel Road, then winds through the scenic, rolling hills of Mabry Park. The course finishes back at Garrison Mill Elementary School, creating a safe, well-supported route for both runners and walkers.

 

Participants can expect clearly marked paths, course volunteers along the way, and a welcoming, community-focused atmosphere from start to finish.

Can my family or business be a sponsor?

YES! There are FAMILY sponsorship opportunities & BUSINESS sponsorship opportunities. The Greyhound Gallop offers sponsors a great opportunity to receive significant exposure among individuals within the East Cobb community while supporting a worthy cause.  All proceeds from the race go towards school improvements at Garrison Mill Elementary School.
