Coat & Winter Wear Collection
Spreading Warmth Through Kindness
As part of our Week of Service, our school community came together for the Spreading Warmth Through Kindness Coat & Winter Wear Collection in support of MUST Ministries — and the impact was truly incredible.
A Community Effort
Families generously donated new and gently used coats, sweaters, hats, gloves, and scarves for both children and adults. Thanks to your kindness, we collected over 350 winter items to help individuals and families in need stay warm this season.
Each item donated was clean and in good condition, reflecting the care and thoughtfulness of our community. Donations were dropped off during morning carpool and sent in with students throughout the week, filling our designated collection areas with warmth in more ways than one.

Adding a Personal Touch
What made this coat drive especially meaningful was the involvement of our students. Before the coats were delivered, each item was carefully prepared and washed by board member Rosario Borgna.
Students then added handwritten notes of encouragement and kindness, tucking them into the pockets of the coats before they were donated. These small but powerful messages ensured that recipients would feel not only physical warmth, but also the love and support of our school community.
More Than a Donation
This coat drive was more than a collection effort — it was a hands-on opportunity for students to practice empathy, generosity, and service. They saw firsthand how simple acts of kindness can make a real difference in someone’s life.
Seeing our students give back in such meaningful ways truly embodied what it means to spread warmth through kindness.
Because of you, both bodies and hearts will be warmer this winter. Thank you for helping us make a lasting impact in our community.
